THAT FAMOUS TODAKOL OF BUKHARA It was recently announced the start of construction of an ecotourism beach zone with an area of 15 hectares in the Tudakol reservoir area in the Bukhara region. The Todakol Reservoir, or Lake Todakol, is said by locals to be a beautiful oasis in the middle of a desert near Bukhara, in the Navoi region. The water in the reservoir is bitter and partially mineralized, resembling the sea. The flora and fauna near the reservoir amaze visitors with their rich diversity. Here you can meet eagles, gazelles, foxes, wild cats, rabbits, steppe birds. Large numbers of waterfowl can be observed during the seasonal migration to the south: gray geese, swans, pelicans, and even fishing birds. Some species of flora and fauna are included in the Red Data Book of Uzbekistan. There is a recreation area in Todakol Reservoir. Wildlife enthusiasts can visit here for sunbathing, swimming, and even fishing. A water park, an entertainment complex, a mini-Disneyland, a hotel, and playgrounds will be built soon. Ecozone meets modern standards and requirements of active recreation.
